12. Add and Edit Shapes / Hotspots

Updated : Jul 05, 2016

NB: Since Klynt 3.3, Shapes are called Hotspots.

Add a Shape
To add a Shape element to your sequence, right click on the "object" track and select Add Shape. A new element will be added on your timeline and on the center of the scene.

Create an invisible cliquable area

Shapes can be very useful to create a cliquable area over other elements such as complex graphics or even videos. To create an invisible area, create a shape and then set it opacity to 0% in the Effects tab of the properties panel.

Create a round shape

By default shape are rectangular but you can create round shapes by adding a border radius in the Effect tab.

N.B: Border radius must be more than half the length of the side of your shape.
