8. Modify the player’s default design

Updated : Jul 16, 2015

Change the logo of the splashscreen (Pro)

Go to Project > Design Settings > Skin

The splashscreen is the loader page for the player. It remains displayed as long as the files of the player are not loaded in your browser (approx. 1 or 2 seconds).
By default, the player displays Klynt logo. If you own the Pro version, you can include your own logo by choosing a .png file.

Add a watermark to your project

This new functionnality allows you to display a single image on all the sequences of your project with a transparency.
The interface allows you to choose an image and define the link and it’s type (to a sequence, to an overlay sequence, to a widget or to a website). You can also define if the watermark is displayed on the starting sequence, and it’s default position.

Edit the main colors of the player interface

It is now possible to change the 3 main colors that are used in the player interface (footer and widgets). A selection of palettes is available, but you can select the "Custom" option from the drop down list and choose your own colors.

- "Background": background color of the web page, the footer, and widgets
- "Text": text color of the footer and widgets
- "Focus": footer and widget icons color

Change the Primary Interface Font

You can change the main font of the player. This font is found in all the footer links and in all the widgets. To change this font, use the droplist and choose the font of your choice.

You can also change the size of this main font with the size slide. This new size will be applied to all the links of the footer and in all the widgets.

By clicking on Reset, you can restore the default parameters.

Add a background image to my widgets

In order to personnalize your project, you can add a background image to your widgets. Select an image from that interface on your computer and define the opacity of the image.

Modify the default “close button” style used for overlays

This option lets you define the close button position and style for all your overlay sequences. You can custom the close button by importing your own .png image.

Customize the player’s CSS

If you wish, it is possible to update all design values in a specific CSS file (My documents > Klynt v3 > My project > Ressources > player.css). An online documentation is available here.
